Avenir Technology was founded by a team of financial market veterans who had seen firsthand how legacy systems were slowing the industry down. Frustrated by outdated, inflexible infrastructure, they set out to build something better combining deep domain expertise with a passion for creating secure, elegant, and efficient solutions for modern markets.
Today, Avenir powers critical systems across multiple continents, including regulated stock exchanges, private markets, registrars, and emerging financial centers.

Martyn has a background in markets and loves solving business problems with smart IT solutions.
Dr Ferry Hendrikx is a seasoned technology professional with over 25 years of industry experience across Europe, the US and New Zealand. With a lifelong passion for technology—starting in electronics and evolving into computing—he has built a career that spans telecommunications, government, and the fintech sector. Working with organisations such as BT, NZX, Lucent/Alcatel, Telecom NZ and Avenir Technology, Ferry has worked extensively in the design and implementation of solutions for clients. He brings more than 10 years of senior leadership experience, guiding teams and developing architectures to drive innovation and business outcomes. In his spare time, he is a keen sailor, a qualified miller (in 16-17th century windmills), and an amateur radio enthusiast.
Simon has a background in risk and control across banking, markets and regulation. He is passionate about continuous improvement through connecting business and IT.
With over 25 years of experience in Exchanges and FinTech, Adrienne is an experienced CEO, Group Chief Operating Officer (COO), Non-Executive Director, and SaaS Leader. Adrienne specialises in Strategy, Business Operations, Enterprise Sales, and People Management within the world of Markets Infrastructure, startups and Innovation.
